"Shippou"
The Buddhist term "Shippou" refers to the 7 precious materials (gold/silver/lapis lazuli/quartz/coral/agate/giant clam).
This circle has a meaning of eternal bonds and amplification, and it is intertwined with a design representing harmony and auspicious omens.
≪ Color ≫
Marigold Yellow (Yamabuki-iro)
Yamabuki-iro is a name derived from Yamabuki flowers (globeflower), a bright golden yellow color with a slight red tinge.
As Yamabuki deciduous tree in Rosacea genus, the flower is prevalent in Japan. It has been largely popular since the Heian period with its beautiful yellow flowers.
Blooming in the mountains, it was called "Yamaburi" in Mayoshu. Then later, it was called, "Yamabuki."
Since its color is similar to that of gold, it has been called "Kogane-iro". In English, this color is known as marigold yellow.
