≪ Design ≫
"Kuginuki Tsunagi"
The pattern is a square with a smaller square within, which represents the washer of a pair of pincers.
The vertically connected pattern has been used by common people.
≪ Color ≫
Gray (Sunezumi)
Refers to the gray color of the body of a mouse (nezumi) without any coloring, of medium lightness.
After this, other gray colors came out based on the sunezumi gray color, such as "gin'nezumi' (silver mouse) and "shironezumi" (white mouse).
Therefore, the gray color of the mouse (nezumi) was added the prefix "su", which means "plain" or "nothing special".
